Doyle & Doyle is thrilled to announce an exciting collaboration with renowned French-American illustrator Pascal Campion. We are huge fans of Pascal’s art, which depicts small yet emotionally significant moments in life. Working closely with the Doyle sisters, Pascal created two beautiful illustrations which embody the atmosphere and romance of the Doyle & Doyle experience. Inspired by his artwork, we’ve also created a colorful collection of antique and vintage jewelry, the Pascal Campion collection.Enveloped in a misty city evening, a couple gazes into a jewelry display window, the arched facade representing our storefront on West 13th Street. Another pair rides an elevator among city lights, where a surprise gift in our signature blue and pink is about to received. Unveiled Monday May 12, the two artworks appear as ads in select New York City subway stations (hint: look for them in the stations around our store in the Meatpacking District!).
Pascal Campion is a prolific French-American artist, illustrator, concept designer, character designer, and animator whose clients include: Dreamworks Animation, Paramount Pictures, Disney, Cartoon Network, Hulu, and PBS. Passionately inspired by his wife and kids, his thousands of fans flock to his website for the Sketch of the Day, where he posts a new image from his San Francisco studio every morning. Campion has recently branched out into fine art with a solo show at Galerie Arludik in Paris and will appear at the CTN Center Stage Gallery in Burbank, California.
Campion’s imagery shows the beauty of everyday life, captured in a colorful, dreamy style that invites the viewer to become a part of his world. He also recently collaborated with Marvel Comics to bring his signature look to the superhero world of Spiderman, the Avengers, and the X-Men’s Wolverine.
