We accept Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.

Can I put a hold on a piece?

Yes, you can! You can secure the piece for 7 days with a 25% deposit, taking it off our website and sales floor. If you decide not to purchase the item at the end of the 7 day period, your deposit converts to a store credit, which is valid for 5 years.

Do you offer financing or payment plan?

We don't offer financing. We're happy to offer a 6 month payment plan with an initial 50% deposit. You have 6 months, interest-free, to pay the balance in whatever increments and timing you prefer. The piece remains in the store until it's paid in full. This is a commitment to purchase the item, the item is not eligible for refund. Please let us know if circumstances change and you're unable complete payment within 6 months. Don't worry, all of your previous payments will convert to store credit. The credit is valid for five years, so you'll have plenty of time to find a new fabulous jewel.

Are your prices negotiable?

We do not negotiate prices. We pride ourselves on pricing our pieces fairly and correctly. We have found our customers appreciate knowing that they do not need to haggle at Doyle & Doyle.

Do you offer a warranty on your pieces?

Our jewelry is sold in as is condition. Our gemologists thoroughly research each piece, including testing metal fineness and gemstone carat weights, and we stand behind our jewelry descriptions. Jewelry, like all material, is susceptible to damage and requires preventative measures and maintenance. It is important to be aware of your jewelry while wearing it and to choose pieces that are appropriate for your lifestyle. We recommend removing all jewelry, especially rings, in situations when contact is expected. We will work closely with you to determine the best type of jewelry for you.

If your Doyle & Doyle jewelry incurs damage, please bring it to the store. We'll take in the item, review the damage and possible cause with our jeweler, and contact you promptly with an estimate for the repair.

We recommend that you bring in your Doyle & Doyle diamond and gemstone rings every 6 months for a thorough cleaning and inspection by our jeweler for stone security. If your piece came with an EGL or GIA diamond report, please bring it with you. We must check the diamond against the report when you drop off and pick up your jewelry.

Can you resize my ring?

In most cases, yes we can. Certain styles, such as diamond eternity bands or rings with patterns going all the way around, cannot be sized. All sizeable rings purchased at Doyle & Doyle come with a complimentary sizing and an adjustment, if needed. Bear in mind that once sized, the item is no longer returnable or exchangeable. If you're sizing a ring after purchase and it came with an EGL or GIA diamond report, it must be accompanied by the original report to be taken in by our jeweler. We wish we could, but we're unable to resize or repair personal jewelry that was not purchased at Doyle & Doyle.

Will you repair my Doyle & Doyle jewelry?

If your Doyle & Doyle jewelry incurs damage, please bring it to the store. We'll take in the item, review the damage and possible cause with our jeweler, and contact you promptly with an estimate for the repair.

We strongly encourage our customers to bring their Doyle & Doyle pieces back to us for all subsequent work and repairs. Our jewelers specialize in antique jewelry repair and construction. A skilled modern jeweler is not necessarily capable of working on old jewelry, as construction techniques have changed dramatically over time. If your piece came with an EGL or GIA diamond report, please bring it with you. We must check the diamond against the report when you drop off and pick up your jewelry.

If you're unable to bring or send your piece back to the store, be sure to take your piece to a reputable jeweler that specializes in the repair of antique jewelry. We wish we could, but we're unable to resize or repair personal jewelry that was not purchased at Doyle & Doyle.

Can you appraise my Doyle & Doyle jewelry?

Yes, we offer complimentary appraisals for items purchased at Doyle & Doyle. Appraisals take about 1-2 weeks to complete by our gemologist and she'll need to have the piece on hand during that time. If your piece came with an EGL or GIA diamond report, please bring it with you. We must check the diamond against the report when you drop off and pick up your jewelry. Check with your insurance company if you need an appraisal. For many pieces, a sales receipt will suffice. We wish we could, but we're unable to appraise personal jewelry that was not purchased at Doyle & Doyle

Will you buy my jewelry?

We'd love to be able to help you, but we do not purchase pieces from the public. We recommend checking Yelp and other review sites to find a reputable jeweler who purchases antique pieces. You can also try an auction house with a jewelry specialist, such as Christie's, Sotheby's, Bonhams, or Skinner.

Do you sell only antique jewelry?

In addition to antique jewelry (over 100 years old), we carry vintage (over 25 years old), estate, and new jewelry, including our own line, Heirloom by Doyle & Doyle.

When do you get in new jewelry?

We are constantly getting new jewelry! The best way to see our newest arrivals is to follow us on Instagram or Facebook. Every Thursday, we debut our new engagement rings on these channels. Not on social media? Join our email list to see new arrivals, Heirloom designs, and be invited to store events. Keep in mind that many pieces sell before they hit our website, so reach out immediately if you see something you love. We add new pieces to the website as often as possible, you can see them in the "New Arrivals" section. Hunting for something specific? I already have a diamond—do you sell mountings?

Yes, we are happy to set your diamond into one of our vintage, antique, or Heirloom by Doyle & Doyle ring mountings. An appointment is necessary to discuss stone setting, please call 212.677.9991 or email info@doyledoyle.com to speak to our diamond coordinator. We do not sell empty mountings without a stone.

Do you sell loose diamonds?

We can source a wide range of antique and modern cut loose diamonds, which we can set into one of our vintage or contemporary ring mountings. An appointment is necessary to view loose diamonds and mountings. Please call us at 212.677.9991 or email info@doyledoyle.com to speak to our diamond coordinator. We do not sell unmounted diamonds.

Are your diamonds graded?

For engagement rings, we provide GIA or EGL USA grading reports for center diamonds of 0.50 carats and over.

Are your diamonds conflict-free?

Most of our diamonds are old cut stones. Since they were mined and cut prior to the 1940s, you can rest assured that your purchase is not funding any current conflict. Our modern diamonds are from sources that state they trade conflict-free.

What is the best way to care for my Doyle & Doyle jewelry?

Jewelry requires special care depending on the materials, condition, and construction of the piece. Basic care involves storing jewelry so that pieces do not touch and removing it before physical activity. To quickly clean stones, use a lint-free polishing cloth to safely remove fingerprints and oil. Generally, metal does not require cleaning and will become more beautiful over time. Consult us before using any jewelry cleaner, ultrasonic, or steam cleaner on your piece. We're happy to provide you with more specific care recommendations, please call 212.677.9991 or email info@doyledoyle.com.

Check the settings of your stones regularly, with special attention after a piece incurs impact. Please consult your salesperson for the best way to check the security of your stone. If you notice your stone is loose, bring your piece to the store as soon as possible for tightening. We also recommend bringing in your frequently worn gemstone jewelry every 6 months so our jeweler can inspect the security of the settings. If your piece came with an EGL or GIA diamond report, please bring it with you. We must check the diamond against the report when you drop off and pick up your jewelry.
