What is the best way to care for my Doyle & Doyle jewelry?
Jewelry requires special care depending on the materials, condition, and construction of the piece. Basic care involves storing jewelry so that pieces do not touch and removing it before physical activity. To quickly clean stones, use a lint-free polishing cloth to safely remove fingerprints and oil. Generally, metal does not require cleaning and will become more beautiful over time. Consult us before using any jewelry cleaner, ultrasonic, or steam cleaner on your piece. We're happy to provide you with more specific care recommendations, please call 212.677.9991 or email email@example.com.
Check the settings of your stones regularly, with special attention after a piece incurs impact. Please consult your salesperson for the best way to check the security of your stone. If you notice your stone is loose, bring your piece to the store as soon as possible for tightening. We also recommend bringing in your frequently worn gemstone jewelry every 6 months so our jeweler can inspect the security of the settings. If your piece came with an EGL or GIA diamond report, please bring it with you. We must check the diamond against the report when you drop off and pick up your jewelry.
