Postcards from Bridal Week: Top 3 Wedding Jewelry Looks

Categories

We’re positively swooning over the beautiful gowns that debuted at the Bridal Week Fall 2016 shows. After obsessively poring over each collection, we identified three trends and created wedding jewelry looks to compliment them. We started by highlighting our newest cache of green rings (emeralds and demantoid garnets!) and then let the dresses lead the way.

Vintage and antique wedding jewelry from Doyle & Doyle with gowns from Monique Lhuillier and Reem Acra. How romantic is the soft ivory color of these ethereal gowns by Monique Lhuillier and Reem Acra? They were calling out to be matched with our antique opal and demantoid garnet ring, circa 1905 with hallmarks for J.E. Caldwell. Antique diamond chandelier earrings in silver topped gold and a curvilinear pearl and diamond bracelet highlight the dresses’ details.

Vintage and antique wedding jewelry from Doyle & Doyle with gowns from Badgley Mischka and Lela Rose.

The pared down silhouettes and modern detailing on these gowns by Badgley Mischka and Lela Rose are perfectly paired with the geometric lines of our Art Deco diamond and emerald ring. We love the gleam of antique pearl earrings by the bride’s face and an opulent Art Deco diamond bracelet on her wrist.

Vintage and antique wedding jewelry from Doyle & Doyle with gowns from Monique Lhuillier and Anne Barge.

An all over embellished gown can look heavy, but we love the lightness of these floral gowns by Anne Barge and Monique Lhuillier. Our Georgian emerald and diamond ring highlights their shimmering texture, especially when combined with an Edwardian pearl and diamond pendant and Victorian diamond drop earrings.

What’s your favorite look? And which comes first – the wedding gown or the wedding jewelry? (Jewelry, of course!!)
