At Doyle & Doyle, we debut our newest vintage and antique engagement rings every Thursday, usually 3-6 rings per week. But this week, we have an extra special, extra big collection of new engagement ring arrivals to kick off wedding season. There are so many beautiful rings that we had to break up the collection into two blog posts! Read on for part 1 and get ready to find your dream ring.
The first sparkler of the spring antique engagement ring event is this striking Victorian cluster engagement ring. It's set with a center 1.27ct cushion cut diamond, framed by four Old Mine cut diamonds, all in rich 14k yellow gold. It's regal and beautiful on the hand!
Next up is our newest Heirloom by Doyle & Doyle bezel engagement ring. It features a bright and sparkly 0.49ct rose cut diamond in a platinum setting, with a romantic 18k rose gold band. Our signature North Star cut out is on the reverse of the basket, adding a fun little detail just for you. This, along with our full Heirloom by Doyle & Doyle collection, is designed by Elizabeth Doyle and made right here in New York.
Third is this classic vintage engagement ring, featuring a beautiful 1.13ct Old European cut diamond. This antique diamond is especially rare due to its E color and Internally Flawless clarity. Such a special diamond is showcased perfectly in a pared down platinum mounting, flanked by six single cut diamonds.
Oval diamonds are having a moment, and we love the 1.09ct one in this super cool vintage solitaire engagement ring. The wide 18k yellow gold band is an unexpected touch and has a lovely, mellow patina. Wouldn't this be a fun ring to stack?
Next up is a trio of vintage emerald cut diamond engagement rings of different sizes, each with baguette sides and set in platinum. The top ring highlights a 0.70ct emerald cut diamond, the middle is 1.01ct, and the bottom is 1.22ct. Which would you say yes to? All are eternally and effortlessly chic.
Part 1's last ring is a unique diagonal three stone ring (channeling Meghan Markle, perhaps?). A super sparkly 0.90ct antique cushion cut diamond is flanked top and bottom by two Old European cut diamonds. It's fashioned in a detailed rose gold mounting, hallmarked for Allsopp Bros, jewelers active in Newark, NJ from 1885 to 1956. You definitely will not see this ring coming and going!
Stay tuned for part 2 of our spring antique engagement ring event, coming soon...
